radioseer (9), Virginia, USA does not count May 14, 2009 (12 ounce bottle) I liked it, for some reason I very rarely drink Sam Adams. sdk (33), Island Bay, New Zealand May 13, 2009 12 fl oz. Tall glass. Pours a nice glear gold. head lasts a little while but not too long. Floral hop nose with a little citrus. Bitter start with a small hop finish. Quite nice but could be better in the mouth. viet959 (68), , Georgia, USA May 11, 2009 Updated: May 25, 2009Has very nice caramel malt and hops balance. Extremely drinkable and at a very reasonable price while easily available. danielcurtis81 (879), San Diego, California, USA May 7, 2009 Draft at the Padres game. Pours a deep amber. Malty nose some caramel. Flavors are rich malts with a good hop undertone. Has a slight stale taste at times. Definitely good in a pinch. petematte46 (212), Dallas, Texas, USA May 6, 2009 A decent beer that you can get just about anywhere. One of the most flavorfull lagers available. Almost a ale in flavor. A solid beer. bluecollarboy (36), Illinois, USA May 5, 2009 Updated: May 23, 2009One of my favorite brews to date, somewhat dark golden in coler with both bitter and sweet aromas; followed by a full-bodied taste. A full-flavored beer that is truly for the true beer lover. For the amount of body, one of the most drinkable beers I’ve encountered. Overall, an amazing beer for a decent price. mike67 (73), , New Jersey, USA May 3, 2009 12 oz bottle. Copper in color with a nice long lasting head. Aroma of citrus hops balanced by a sweetness of malts. When you smell it you know it is Boston Lager. Body is crisp and firm . Nicely balanced in flavor, with citrusy hops slightly dominate over malts. Just perfect but highly underrated lager. Davebravey (8), Liverpool, Merseyside, England does not count May 3, 2009 Nice easy drinkable beer. Medium sweetness, mild hop flavours. Light aftertaste.
