BeerBunker (607), Burbank, Illinois, USA Jan 24, 2009 12oz bottle. Pours amber with a small white head. Moderate carbonation. Aroma is of earthy hops, malt, grain, caramel, and sweet fruit. Taste is of very earthy hops, grain, and caramel malt. Very malty mouthfeel. Nothing overly special, but it drinks easy. Nice alternative to macro swill. Plamadude30k (122), Tucson, Arizona, USA Jan 24, 2009 Updated: Jan 28, 2009I won’t try to describe the flavors in this beer, others can do that much better than I can. What I can say is that this beer has a certain depth of flavor which changes as the liquid sits on the tongue. I would describe the character as almost earthy. A very drinkable beer. finol (475), Nacka (Stockholm), Sweden Jan 23, 2009 Bottle from Systembolaget.
Amber colour and short lasting head.
Malty flavour with a little hoppy after taste. A bit to high carbonation. Gary (352), Buckinghamshire, England Jan 22, 2009 This might get shit flug at it by some ,but I think its a good, non-’Pisener’ type or Lager :Very honest stuff. You feel the integrity or something. Pleseant caramel, malty aromas-with some dusty hops. Its sweet ,and dry tasting, with some fruit like (apple and pear) reminds me of Earl gray tea. Feels more like an ale : Kinda floral hopped ,with caramel in the base. Good flavoured & swillable. PictouRx (29), Ontario, Canada Jan 21, 2009 not too bad, citrusy caramel, small head pale gold in color light carbonation, finish is somewhat bitter. I could drink this at the pub all night if need be, not bad overall. Arayaga2 (933), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA Jan 21, 2009 Clear gold with 1 cm white head. Sweet generic beer aroma. Taste is substantially more interesting, with nice citrusy hop bitterness and bready malt into the finish. Fruity yeast notes in the aftertaste joeyplush (328), Garnet Valley, Pennsylvania, USA Jan 19, 2009 Pours a light semi-transparent copper with a medium off-white head and moderate lacing.
