Samuel Adams Boston Lager

not bad a good easy to find semi popular beer, aroma of mild malts and grains, really not a ton of hops compared to some of the other hop giants out there, contrary to their commercials. All and all if I’m having a cheap steak not a bad beer to go with it.

Malty almost bready aroma. I’m particularly impressed by the balance of hoppy piney bitterness and the slightly roasted malt flavor. Overall this is nice standby beer when there are not a lot of other choices available.

Pours a golden amber with a carbonated white head. Taste of citrus, but not extremly fruity. Is a well balanced beer without a lot of depth. 12 oz. bottle from a 12 pack sampler

Bottle. Solid beer but a bit plain for my taste. Medium body with hints of grain and malts. Palate is a bit think but overall a good entry-level craft beer.

I refer back to this one every now and then as a benchmark to see how my tastes have changed. The malt and hops tastes in the commercial description are always right on, but the weak, watery, character that the ad guys won’t tell you about is always there too. Maybe I just can’t take lagers anymore, I dunno. If you’re used to slamming light beers all day, this will definitely be a move up. If you’re used to sampling even the moderately better brews out there, save your money.

Pours a nice gold color with a nice head. Has a great balance of smoothness and taste.

compared to the big three Sam Adams offers a great beer that can be found at almost anywhere you go.

Top 3 of my choices, a very good beer although I cant drink a whole lot of it- probably a good thing.
