Jun 21, 2008 2008 Bottle - Pours light brown, slight white head, aroma is bitter and slightly skunked like most macro brews, this should be treated as such, it is bitter and refreshing and consistently good...while it is large batch, it’s still enjoyably drinkable, just stay away from their cherry/stout/shit/etc other stuff...

Jun 21, 2008 Sam Adams lager is pretty good. I like the Boston Beer company, but I think their flagship beer falls a little short. It has a distinctive flavor that I attribute to East Coast/ Alt yeast. This beer tastes like an Alt, very German... which would allow it to be a typical historical "American" beer.
This is my cheap beer.

Thanks for giving us such a wonderful gift. Spicy, hearty and smooth. Day or night, cold or hot it’s beautiful. Makes a GREAT beer batter. And it’s my lucky beer. 4 hours, 13 Boston Lagers, 2 dice, 1 casino 12k. Yeah, yum!!!

Jun 19, 2008 On tap at BWI airport. Bronze color with about half inch of white head. Probably the most popular "craft beer" out there. Mild hop taste with some hints of caramel. A very drinkable, refreshing, and enjoyable beer. Can have one at the bar or put down a six pack of it watching the game.

Jun 17, 2008 It’s really just a standard shitty beer, with some, but few hops, less adjuncts, and less watery. So all round, it’s definitely better, but it’s still in the same category. It still has a vomit taste that makes me want to, well, vomit. Doesn’t quite get to the level of "at least it’s refreshing" as vomit is not refreshing.

Jun 16, 2008 This really is a premium lager. It pours a bronze-gold colour with a foamy white head. I’ve always heard plenty about a Sam Adams, but never had one before. I thought it was a perfect blend between a hoppy ale and a light lager.

Jun 14, 2008 Pours translucent gold. White/tan head. Tart, orange rind taste w/ spice. Carmel flavor in malt. Not sour or milky, in the middle. Great beer.
