ThaBobfather (178), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA May 11, 2008 This is a very quality lager. It smells and pours with deep tones. It’s flavor is quality and it is a better than average lager. Droptank (79), Spring, Texas, USA May 11, 2008 Very refreshing crisp beer. I was satisfied after downing a bottle with the old man. MrBeerFanatic (344), jamestown, New York, USA May 9, 2008 This is one of my favorite "local" lager’s. I often buy 12 packs of this at rite aid. Has a good hoppy character to it. Long live Bavarian hops! Todeon (314), Sweden May 9, 2008 Bottle.Amber color with a big foamy white head. Taste is a bit fruity with som hints och caramel and hops. Really good lager. dornan23 (11), New York, USA May 8, 2008 Updated: Oct 24, 2009Amber color with a white head. Tastes primarily of hops with a hint of caramel. Finishes nicely unclemike (834), Ft. Riley, Kansas, USA May 8, 2008 Clean, clear amber color w/ bubbles dancing from the bottom of the glass for what seems like forever. Small off-white head. Mostly light hops in the aroma, some malts hanging in the back of the class. First taste...hops, malt, hops again on the finish & a slight creaminess to it. Some nice lacing clings to the glass as well. Not a big lager fan, but I’d gladly drink this at the local dive if available.
PlunkersDuo (6), USA does not count May 5, 2008 *This is a Must try Beer*
We really like this beer, It seems it is all a lager should be, rather than read the descriptions this is one you really need to go out and try.
When we buy beer it is usually a toss up between the Sam Adams Boston Lager and something else.
