Sep 1, 2009 The color on old Sammy was orange with a decent fluffy head. Smells faintly earthy, tastes muddy and also lager-like clean at same time. This is much better than macro lagers by far but I prefer ales so I would pass this up. Still, a decent beer if you are in a pinch.

Aug 30, 2009 A bottle 0.355L tasted at Silja Line Bar. Mild hoppy nose. Pale foamy head ྾mm). Golden yellow colour. Soft malty and at end hoppy taste.

Aug 26, 2009 Have had many times from the bottle and on tap. A very drinkable and slightly hoppy lager that is a definite standby at bars where it’s the only specialty available.

Aug 25, 2009 How on earth did I miss this rate. Pours a nice clear amber. Nose is caramel andnoble hops. Flavor is slight hop bitterness, mild citrus, nice malted barley and sweet caramel.

Aug 25, 2009 Pours pale amber with a medium head that is short lived. Some nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is quite hoppy, citrusy. Taste is much more ordinary. Very slightly bitter with a faint hop taste. Some sweetness. Overall a bit watery with almost no finish. Nothing wrong here, just a bit watery. That being said, it is much better than any macro lager. Very drinkable and refreshing.

Aug 24, 2009 Bottle. Much better than average macro lager. Fairly complex taste, you can actually taste the hops to a certain extent. Slightly nutty as well. Not too bad.
