angrybeerman (107), Dublin, Ireland Aug 24, 2009 Updated: Aug 30, 2009Nice golden colour with a good white head. Hoppy smell. Very smooth and also quite sweet. Nice malty taste and a good hoppy finish to go with it. Tastes better the more you drink it. Overall a very drinkable lager. jesperhammer (260), Copenhagen, Denmark Aug 24, 2009 22-AUG-2009, Bottle @Henriks.
Colden/orangy with some white head.
Slightly bitter, creamy, nice lager. Sonicdescent (374), Donora, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 23, 2009 This is a great go to beer. Looks a nice golden color with a white head that lasts the duration of the drink. Smells fresh, especially if you are used to adjunct lagers. Mouthfeel is great for a lager, much smoother than your average lager. Drinkability is great, as said before this is my go to session beer and is reasonably priced. MrRoss (614), Delta, British Columbia, Canada Aug 17, 2009 Got well acquainted with this stuff while stuck in Tampa’s airport (hi TGIF’s), and it helped pass the hours. Nice colour for a lager, with decent head and aroma. Taste was definitely a superior to most swills. From the bottle, it poured a nice dark amber in colour accompanied by a moderately-sized foamy ivory head, Aroma was somewhat floral but I believe there is malt lurking in the background. Nice carbonation, too. Taste was a bit of malt and the mouthfeel was "crisp". ljay6880 (132), , Pennsylvania, USA Aug 15, 2009 12 oz bottle served in a clear pint glass. Pour was a clear copper with about two fingers of fluffy white head. Nose is light perfume, light hops, and the normal lager smell. Taste is very much the same. Not a terrible brew, very drinkable and very sessionable. When there is nothing but crap to chose from, this is often the saving grace I turn to when in the average bar. danielst (132), Vienna, Austria Aug 12, 2009 Pours a copper colour with a decent head. The aroma is piney/earthy and a bit flowery, reminding me more of a Bitter than a Euro-Lager. The flavour is again earthy and a bit nutty, pretty dry with a subdued bitterness. The mouthfeel is a tad too light for my liking. Very decent but not a highlight. humulushound (109), British Columbia, Canada Aug 9, 2009 Okay, not sure why this one is classified as a premium larger and not a Vienna - Just a side note because I think this should be in the same category as Brooklyn Lager which I think is a better beer. Pours deep copper with small off-white head. Aroma I find malt forward with some citrus and pine notes. Goes down smooth with caramel, ripe citrus, vanilla undertones and a clean finish. Well balanced and drinkable with a light palate.
