Ungstrup (14754), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 3, 2003 The aroma is dominated by brewmash with notes of sweet malt. The color is orange and it has a beutiful head. The flavor is a nice malt sweetness with notes of oranges, and a slight bitterness - too slight for my liking. An OK lager but boring for a Sam Adams. Papsoe (14642), Frederiksberg, Denmark Mar 15, 2005 (Bottle 35,5 cl) Dark golden, slightly hazy beer with a dense and stable head. Fullbodied and extremely aromatic from the hops without being excessively bitter. Nice fruityness. Mostly reminds me of an English Bitter - but this is well made lager. omhper (12155), Stockholm, Sweden May 27, 2002 Amber coloured. Flowery aroma, medium body, crystal malt character. For a long time this was the only decent American beer I’d tried, as it was the only one available. yespr (11645), Copenhagen O, Denmark Jun 25, 2007 12 oz bottle. Pours slight hazy orange with a light orange head, quickly disappearing. Malty sweet aroma with a clear raisin note. Sweet malty flavour, mildly floral and bitter. Dark orange colour with beige mediumsized head. Fruity and malty aroma. Malty, hoppy and vegetably flavour. Long hoppish aftertaste. Balanced, but not too exciting. MiP (8793), Sønderborg, Denmark Oct 10, 2004 Bottle. Amber colour, nice white head. Very nice, malty aroma. Very malty for a lager, mild bitterness.
