FatTony (111), Augusta, Georgia, USA May 13, 2008 12 ounce bottle- poured out a strong tea color with a tall tan head that lasted the whole glass. Aroma was a great mix of malt and toffee. The caramel laced taste and cream smooth texture of this beer will make it hard to beat. Excellent.

Aroma is quite malty, bitter almost tannic nuttyness, grains, and some sweet peanut brittle. Flavor is a little washed out still heavily bent on malt. Fresh baked wheat dinner rolls, caramel, brazil nuts. FInish is pretty weak some planty malt, with a little bitter and spicy hops. Aroma is nutty and malty with some light sweet hints along with a touch of hop bitterness and some biscuit. Flavor is malty at the beginning with a light nutty note, a bready middle, and a watery and lightly bitter finish. Light tan head that displays typically average lace and retention. Sweet, simple aroma of toasted bread, toffee, and nuts. Rather weak flavor, tastes like malt flavored perrier. Nondescript brown maltiness with little complexity or hoppiness. Body is thin and watery. A pretty crummy attempt at the style. Carmel and slightly nutty with low hop bitterness . Medium body and mouth feel. Clean dry finish with little hop bitterness. Medium bodied with a nice creamy mouthfeel and a tingle of carbonation. A really decent brown ale.
