Commercial Description:
Hazy and golden in color, this brew is a fresh twist on the popular Hefeweizen style. Eureka and Lisbon lemons, from three growing regions in California, balance out the wheat malt character, resulting in a crisp and refreshing wheat ale with subtle lemon flavor. Cheers!

Tallahassee, Fl. - Publix Supermarket - 12 oz bottle. Medium orange and hazy with a soft white head. Slightly spicy aroma with some soft buttery accents. Slightly fruity flavor with some hits of lemon, a bit of soft spiciness - grains of paradise perhaps and a back end of butter - kind of like those butter mints in restaurants. Mouthfeel is exceptionally smooth and creamy - especially for a wheat ale. Surprised and impressed - one of my least favorite styles.

12oz Bottle. Lemon hand soap aroma, with lots of artificial flavor. Pours a hazy pale gold with a soapy white head. Oooh. Lemon soap flavor, gross. I do not want this much lemon in my beer. It does concentrate to the point that it goes beyond fake flavor and candy to get a little lemon zest and peel, kinda real. But, this isn’t beer. It’s lemon-flavored alcopop. Gross. Soapy palate. I find this immensely offensive.

Out of the SamDams Holidsy box in Cincinnati, Ohio, at a generic Kroger’s - It’s a lame Hispanic beer copy. Avoif it.

Very plain beer, but if anything it complented the appetizers for New Years’ Eve with friends. Little spice, little but some fizz and wetness.

Bottle. Lemon cleaner pour with some wheat and light metal. Pours a hazy yellow with a loud, sudsy white head. Grainy, citric, lightly harsh taste with that bready fade into typical Sam house character. Light-medium body. A decent lawnmower beer, think it would grate after a bottle, though. Yep, it does.

2nd Beer from Holiday pack on New Years Eve. Pours a hazy yellow with a decent sized head. Smells lemony and yeasty. Pretty unusual taste with the lemony flavor. its pretty carbonated and overall refreshing and drinkable with a little strange after taste. Odd for holiday pack but somehow works

12oz bottle pours hazy deep gold with copper core and thin white head. The aroma has some wheat backed up by some mild dark fruitiness, a touch of honey and a dash of winter spices. The taste is a mix of wheat, some dark fruit and yeasty spices to start. It smooths out with building sweetness to the finish to go along with the addition of some honey notes.

In the bottle from Hy Vee Council Bluffs. Swirled and poured into a weizen glass, the dark golden hazy beer has a nice white head. Good looking lacing rings are left. The aroma is indeed quite lemon-like. Unfortunately, this drinks more like a glass of Alka-Seltzer Plus than it does a hefeweizen. The yeast contributes little to the flavor.
