Hazy light orange, creamy looking white head, very nice retention. Lemony palate, a bit thin, some biscuits. American style wheat, blah, stick with the hefe sammy!

Light sweet and slight mass produced taste like all of sam adams beers... Dickinsonbeer (3451), Hoboken, New Jersey, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 3, 2009 12 oz bottle. Pours a very light golden with a thin white head. Aroma is some light citrus and floral hops, with lemon and citrusy and soapy notes- light crackery dough and wheat. Flavor is lemon zest, play-dough, sweet doughy gummy wheat, citrus oils, and some doughy malty sweetness which is a bit too strong in the middle, and doesn’t finish as crisp as you might expect- slight slickness and soap. The coastal wheat had a nice wheat flavor but, like all domestics a tad watered down. all in all it was a great brew ha ha! enjoy the samual.

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 29, 2009 Sampled on 11/27/2009. This wheat beer pours a slightly hazy medium orange gold color from a 12oz bottle. Medium sized, quickly diminishing, white foamy head, without much lacing. The aroma is wheat, cereal, lemons and lemon peel, yet kind of sweet. A medium bodied wheat beer. The malts are cereal and wheaty. The hops are herbal. Lots of lemon and lemon peel flavors, yet not very sweet or very tart. Touch of banana and clove. Light and refreshing, and the lemon flavors are interesting at least. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is crisp and clean. Aftertaste is slightly bitter and a touch tart.
