Commercial Description:
Hazy and golden in color, this brew is a fresh twist on the popular Hefeweizen style. Eureka and Lisbon lemons, from three growing regions in California, balance out the wheat malt character, resulting in a crisp and refreshing wheat ale with subtle lemon flavor. Cheers!

Aroma: This beer smells of lemon peel and wheat mostly
Appearance: It pours a hazy yellow orange color with a long lasting bright white head and a nice lace
Flavor: It tastes much like it smells, quite a lot of lemon flavor atop some typically wheat characteristics
Palate: It has a light body, it’s decent, but not the most exciting mouthfeel
Overall Impression: Overall this beer looks a lot better then it is. I didn’t hate it, but whatever, it is a drinkable brew. Not much more to say here, other then a note that the lemon is quite powerful on this one, so if you don’t like lemon stay away! I like lemon, but it was too much lemon for me.

Bottle. Golden pour with thin but lasting head. Aroma is bread and citrus that carries a fairly strong lemon flavor. Taste is minimal all around; a little sweet and a bit of spice with the finish.

Aroma of sweet citrus. Cloudy yellow amber with one inch head, fizzing out quickly. Light, sweet ale with a touch of lemon. Refreshing and a little on the light side, but I am sure that was what they intended to do with this summer beer, just not sure why its in the winter pack.

Bottle from a mixed pack on 11/05/2009. Somewhat cloudy golden body with a medium frothy white head. Wheat, lemon zest and light coriander aroma. Sweet fruity flavor, light lemon zest and coriander on a wheat background. Medium light body with moderate carbonation.

Poured from a 12oz. bottle into a pint glass. The color is a light hazy orange with a slight tint of yellow. Has a nice two fingers of white foam, with very little lacing. The smell is pretty wheaty with some fruitiness to it was well. Some light citrus flavor like lemon and tangerine. The taste is sweet with some grains and some wheat flavor. Slight lemon in the background makes for bit of a citrus but it is not very strong for the most part The feel this beer is pretty light. A beer that does not weight your mouth down with too much makes for a pretty good session beer and a good summer beer as well. This is pretty drinkable and is nice on a hot day.

Yellow with a low fragmented head. Corianderaroma with a clear presence of lemon. The flavours is sweet and refreshing, again the lemon delivers a special twist to this nice wheat ale.

12oz Bottle. Lemon hand soap aroma, with lots of artificial flavor. Pours a hazy pale gold with a soapy white head. Oooh. Lemon soap flavor, gross. I do not want this much lemon in my beer. It does concentrate to the point that it goes beyond fake flavor and candy to get a little lemon zest and peel, kinda real. But, this isn’t beer. It’s lemon-flavored alcopop. Gross. Soapy palate. I find this immensely offensive.

Out of the SamDams Holidsy box in Cincinnati, Ohio, at a generic Kroger’s - It’s a lame Hispanic beer copy. Avoif it.

Very plain beer, but if anything it complented the appetizers for New Years’ Eve with friends. Little spice, little but some fizz and wetness.
