Aroma: Sourness apparent, somewhat sweet.
Taste: A little sour, Cranberries apparent. Sweet.
Palate: Medium body, fizzy, too mouthwatering for me.
Not a good Lambic, but an ok fruit beer.

| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Dec 6, 2009 Bottle from Brother Eric. Pours cloudy cranberry sauce with quick fading foamy white head. Nose is sour cheap grain and sour cherries. Taste is slightly sharp/sour cherry/cranberry, but overall watery and bitter/distasteful. This ’take’ on a lambic style is coming off like cranberry mush. It honestly has me picturing soggy whole grain cheerios mixed with thanksgiving cranberry sauce. Drinkable and distasteful at the same time. I respect the attempt, but S.A. needs to put more money into this if they want a quality product. BeerFanDan17 (621), Land O Lakes, Florida, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 5, 2009 Does what it was intended. Sweet but not over the top. Good cranberry infusion and still keeps the beer foundation. Certainly not a true lambic. Sammer (33), Plano, Texas, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Dec 5, 2009 12 oz. Ruby pour from bottle. Light cranberry aroma. Taste is sour cranberries and malt. This is a classic example of something growing on you. I HATED this beer the first time I tried it. Over time, I grew to enjoy and appriciate its’ unique flavor. | 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 5/20 | Dec 4, 2009 Pours mahogany/orange with little head. Smells like stale cranberry and toilet water. The taste isn’t much better. You definitely get a little cranberry and banana in there but not enough other qualities to make it drinkable. There are literally few beers I would rather have less than this. Just terrible. Watered down and just awful jport4087 (90), Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 4, 2009 The beer pours a hazy reddish orange. The aroma has a bit of a sweet and fermented fruit. The beer is slightly sweet but has an astringent finish. The after taste is a bit sour, with no hints of cranberries. I was expecting more from this brew and was sadly disappointed. dimenhetfield (190), , Florida, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 4, 2009 I really don’t understand why this one is rated so low, it’s a great lambic ale. The aroma is not overpowering and you get exactly what you expect, the cranberry taste that will go well with dessert after a big thanksgiving meal or Christmas feast. simonbilyk (50), Maine, USA
| 1.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/20 | Dec 2, 2009 12oz. Nose is banana and cranberry, they don’t go together. Flavor is the same except with the balance even stronger in favor of the banana. There is also a funky flavor at the end, must be the maple syrup? This beer seems like it’s well brewed, the flavor is well developed and the bitter vs sour is balanced but it is unpleasant to drink. The banana is too strong, I wonder if there should even be any banana. The label hypes the yeast but perhaps a different one should have been used. I’m scoring it low because I don’t understand what caused this beer to be made and marketed to such a wide audience. If this was a seasonal offering from some local brewery it would make the costumers mad and not want to return. Sorry, I generally love beer...
