Aroma had strong tart cranberry notes as well as some acid. Flavor was a bit syrupy with a cranberry juice flavor as well as some acid and sour notes.

| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Dec 11, 2009 Pours a cherry red color with a layering head. Fruity smell but soured. Some chalky elements and bits of clay. Taste is not the greatest. On the edge between aged and rotten fruit. Strange cheese flavor. As far as lambics go, poorly done. poisoneddwarf (192), Rathdrum, Idaho, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 10, 2009 12 oz bottle. Aroma of tart cranberry, maple syrup--that’s what the label says, I know. Pours reddish brown with a thin head, nice lacing. Only faintly lambic in character. I taste apples, cranberries, grapes, cotton candy. Body is thin, carbonation slight--this doesn’t deplete the beers quality however. Finishes both tangy and sweet. Not bad. It’s definitely weird, though. SkateSRT8 (13), Bristol, Rhode Island, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 10, 2009 Bottle out of the Sam Winter Pack. Pours to a hazy orangey reddish amberish with a pale almost reddish head. Aromas of cranberries and sugar. Very subtle yet up front tastes of cranberries, yet has a smooth finish. This is great to drink and goes down very easy and is a different tastes from the rest of the sam pack. mike67 (80), , New Jersey, USA

Aroma of cranberry, yeast, brown sugar and some hints of banana. Medium sweet body. Flavor of cranberries, brown sugar, with some yeasty notes. Finish is long and sweet. Good thirst quencher. Should be good with desserts too. charlotte (2032), Vanløse, Denmark

Aroma: Sourness apparent, somewhat sweet.
Taste: A little sour, Cranberries apparent. Sweet.
Palate: Medium body, fizzy, too mouthwatering for me.
Not a good Lambic, but an ok fruit beer.

| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Dec 6, 2009 Bottle from Brother Eric. Pours cloudy cranberry sauce with quick fading foamy white head. Nose is sour cheap grain and sour cherries. Taste is slightly sharp/sour cherry/cranberry, but overall watery and bitter/distasteful. This ’take’ on a lambic style is coming off like cranberry mush. It honestly has me picturing soggy whole grain cheerios mixed with thanksgiving cranberry sauce. Drinkable and distasteful at the same time. I respect the attempt, but S.A. needs to put more money into this if they want a quality product. BeerFanDan17 (621), Land O Lakes, Florida, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 5, 2009 Does what it was intended. Sweet but not over the top. Good cranberry infusion and still keeps the beer foundation. Certainly not a true lambic.
