Hudspart (282), Hudsonville, Michigan, USA Apr 28, 2008 Bottle: Wheat ale huh? I really don’t know about that. Tasted almost like a lager, and not a very good one at that. Definitely one to skip.
ucusty (760), Wake Forest, North Carolina, USA Jul 8, 2008 From the sam adams sampler. Clear gold pour with fluffy white head. Yeasty aroma. Gummy taste well blended with hops and malts jbuzz (396), South Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA Jul 7, 2008 From a Samuel Sampler Case.
A good Wheat but very impressive or flavorful. BlockBrew (48), West Lafayette, Indiana, USA Jul 5, 2008 Nice yellow color, a little haze due to being unfiltered. Slight yeast taste along with hops and malts. One of the few large brews I’ve had which was unfiltered so this was a nice drink. lovemyipas (412), sw burbs, Illinois, USA Jul 3, 2008 pours a somewhat cloudy yellow with a nice 21/2 finger fluffy white head. aroma is a light wheat and lemon. has a light to medium body with descent lacing and carbonation. flavor is the same as aroma but a little stronger. also has a touch of hops in the flavor towards the end and aftertaste. it is decsent but i would rather go back to the cherry wheat i just had. a little flat but creamy at the same time. carruthm (253), USA Jul 2, 2008 An American hefe rather than a classic German, there’s notes of yeast/wheat, but just that, notes. And little accompanying spices.
