Commercial Description:
Samuel Adams Hefeweizen has a traditional spin on a classic American craft brewing style. This crisp, fruity wheat ale is cloudy, because the yeast has not been filtered out. Bavarian Spalt hops give the ale a crisp elegance, that is not bitter and leaves a clean aftertaste. Cheers!

Bottle: Wheat ale huh? I really don’t know about that. Tasted almost like a lager, and not a very good one at that. Definitely one to skip.

Nice yellow color, a little haze due to being unfiltered. Slight yeast taste along with hops and malts. One of the few large brews I’ve had which was unfiltered so this was a nice drink.

pours a somewhat cloudy yellow with a nice 21/2 finger fluffy white head. aroma is a light wheat and lemon. has a light to medium body with descent lacing and carbonation. flavor is the same as aroma but a little stronger. also has a touch of hops in the flavor towards the end and aftertaste. it is decsent but i would rather go back to the cherry wheat i just had. a little flat but creamy at the same time.

An American hefe rather than a classic German, there’s notes of yeast/wheat, but just that, notes. And little accompanying spices.
