mcjay (35), Neenah, Wisconsin, USA Sep 8, 2008 Dark brown with a tan head. Smells of honey with caramel and has a light hop spiciness. Strong roasted malt flavor with a hint of honey. At first the roasted flavor is a little over powering but after you get past it, this is not a bad brew. IPAgain (8), Fleming Island, Florida, USA does not count Sep 4, 2008 Bottle - Nothing honey about it and nothing special. Nice head with lather on sides of glass.
Beerman6686 (726), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 3, 2008 Pours a dark brown color with an off white head. Aroma was pretty weak, but a little vinious and some coffee and sweetness mixed in. Flavor is very sweet too, but watery and nothing else to note. awharr02 (4), USA does not count Sep 1, 2008 12oz bottle... pours deep, dark amber color with thin tan head. Mostly caramel and honey nose and some minor floral notes. Medium mouth feel. Overall a sweet tasting beer with a nice bitter finish to balance things out. REDBOSOX (42), Vineyard Haven, Massachusetts, USA Aug 31, 2008 Another fine Sam Adams beer that I’ve been drinking for years. Sam Adams started the microbrew craze and I’ll always be loyal to them. This one’s nice and sweet with honey and roasted malts. The finish could be better, but it’s still a very nice beer.
