Pours dark,looks pretty in my glass. There seems to be alot going on here,I get a chocolate,caramel, honey nose. Feels silky in my mouth,with a many facetted flavor, wood,smoke,honey,vanilla,chocolate,hops,malt roast mmmmmmmm, I plan to buy this again ,soon.

Nov 30, 2008 Pours amber, tan head.Aroma and taste, lots of honey and malts.
Some light roasted touch. Finish is of light bitter hops, but with enough honey to hider the latter.
At times, the honey almost seems to be too much. Tasty beer.

Nov 30, 2008 12 fl oz bottle. Pours clear and golden deep brown to hazzlenut brown with a diminished off-white head. Mild spiced honey aroma with a light roasted malt base. Mild caramel malty and light roasted with a light chocolate smoothness. Smooth roasted malty and chocolate finish with a light bitterness just showing through.

Nov 29, 2008 Bottle. Dark reddish brown with a lacing tan head. Fruit and flowery honey aroma. Malty caramel flavours with nice flower notes. Well-balanced, semi-dry. Very good.

Nov 28, 2008 Bottled. Lasting fine-laced tan head. Dark brown colored body. Toffee-ish malt aroma with fruity tones and a kiss of honey. Moderately sweet malt flavor, dark fruits, chocolate . Discreet honey notes, very nice actually. Loveable beer!

Nov 28, 2008 Deep amber/brown pour. Light foamy head light tan/dunn in colour. Strong scent immediately upon opening. Roasted, malty, caramels. Initially somewhat bitter and hoppy but that is faced with some sweetness. Feels like a nice balance at first but then falls appart in the aftertaste. Just a bit off kilter, but still rather nice.
