| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 5/5 | 8/20 | Apr 4, 2009 This one pours a deep rich apricot color with a tall froth that lingers. Strong sticky sweet aromatics come into play here with a bit of spice. Full nectar weight with creamy carbonation set the stage pushing cloyingly sweet stonefruit essence forefront. Not much left after this sweet malt sludge overfill. This is more like a n English barleywine in style. Very little spice if any. The finish is more acidic than bittered. Ugh! I’m not sure why this rates as high as it does @ 86 for style as of 4-4-2009. I will say the texture on this is outstanding. dutch23mp (169), Mount Prospect, Illinois, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 4, 2009 12oz bottle. Somewhat dark orange color with a white head. Lots of rich orange aroma a little spicy as well. Sweet, smooth, the alcohol is right up front on this one, more sweet spiciness. Not bad. eaglefan538 (2399), Wilmington, Delaware, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Apr 4, 2009 Bottle from SL. The pour was amber to orange in color, hazy appearance, weak head for the style for sure. The aroma was pretty simple, orange, coriander, malty sweetness/candi sugar-ish. The flavor followed, strong sweet lighter fruits (oranges, bananas), some spicing (coriander pretty much), caramel, finishing with a lingering sweetness. The mouthfeel was bordering on sticky, although the body didn’t quite match a sticky character. An ok brew, but pretty simple and primarily sweet. Rciesla (3790), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 3, 2009 Sampled on 4/1/2009. This wit beer pours a fairly cloudy dark orange gold color from a 12oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head, with decent retention and good lacing. The aroma is fruity, peaches, oranges, banana and spices. A medium to full bodied wit. The malts are fruity, ester and sweet. The hops are floral. Lively carbonation. Interesting mix of flavors, coriander, cloves, orange and some fruity esters. Fairly smooth tasting, yet with a whole bunch of alcohol at the finish. The semi-sweet orange flavors balance the spices well. Good mix of malt, spice and alcohol. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is crisp and clean. Aftertaste is slightly sweet with a big alcohol burn. hopdog (5614), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA
