| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 7, 2009 Murky orange in appearance. Minimal head. Aroma of Hallertau hops and spices. Taste is very malty and sweet with a big full-bodied mouthfeel. Syrupy texture and a long, tart finish. Bitterness is derived from spices more than the Hallertau Mittelfreuh hops. Flavors of orange peel and coriander are able to shine through the overwhelming malt sweetness and alcohol heaviness. More flavors are lemon zest, banana, ginger and honey. Grains of paradise and a lot of wheaty undertones. A satisfying and quaffable drink for what it is, but overly sweet. The upside is a potent beverage with a veritable avalanche of malt. It might just be the strongest witbier you’ll ever try.

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 1, 2010 Bottle. Poured a cloudy amber in color with virtually no head and poor lacing. The aroma was heavy in sweet malts and sweet yeast with a hint of orange. It tasted sweet in the beginning and finished with a heavy alcohol flavor that lasted an average duration. Mouthfeel was medium in body with an oily texture. Overall a very strong tasting beer. 6ROW (275), corpus christi, Texas, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 23, 2009 Bottle. Strong banana, orange, coriander, cinnamon and bread aroma. Cloudy brown-yellow color with small head. Sweet banana malt initially followed by a strong spicy (clove, coriander, white pepper) flavor. One of the spiciest witbiers I’ve ever had. tennessejed420 (100), Atlanta, Georgia, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 11, 2009 12 oz. bottle. Pours a very nice looking cloudy red orange with frothy off-white head which lingers. Aroma of banana, clove, alcohol, other spices. Taste is of orange, other fruits, spices, with alcohol on the finish. Full thick body. None of the flavors are bad but it is a bit overpowering. As marketed, truly a unique brew. It’s good though not something i’ll come back to. Dark, hazy copper color with minimal head. Unique in that it retains some hefeweizen-like properties (banana, orange, coriander falvors) while having the thick body and mouthfeel of a doppelbock or strong ale. Slightly sour flavor with a distinct alcohol taste. A good "winterized" version of hefeweizen. cmonster (114), Portland, Oregon, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 4, 2009 Bottle served in a snifter. Hazy, orange-amber in color with a tiny head that quickly disappears. Aromatic and flavorful. Corriander, spices and tomato nose. Medium-full body and creamy. Malty sweet flavor. Buttescotch, chocolate, coconut, dough. Lingering stickiness. Wait, thats the cookie I just ate. Big alcohol bite. I forget all the rest. Time to move to whisky. DarkSong (115), Dacula, Georgia, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Dec 3, 2009 12 oz bottle. Pours a cloudy dark golden color with a small white long lasting head. It has the aroma of banana, citrus and spices. Tastes strongly of banana, coriander and citrus with a little bit of a bread taste and a moderate alcohol taste. I think the imperial part of this beer ruined it for me. It’s just too much of otherwise good flavors. I don’t think I’ll drink this one again after I finish off the 2 beers from the 4 pack that I’m planing on aging. TheBeerGod (3177), Newport News, Virginia, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 2, 2009 Bottle. Murky copper pour. Short, dense white head. Aroma is rather sweet with candied fruit, spices, yeast and wheat. Light flowery notes as well. Taste is sweet malts, candied fruit, Belgian yeast, floral hops, spices, and wheat. Body is thick, especially for a witbier, and has a prickly carbonation. Ends with more candied fruit, sweet malts, flowers, spices, yeast, wheat/grains and banana.
