Pour was hazy golden color with a medium white head. Aroma of dark fruits. I admit this had a couple of strikes against it before I had ever started drinking: first its a fruit beer and second it is a wheat beer. I was however somewhat surprised. The flavor was fruity but not over the top. Crisp and refreshing but not exactly thin or watery. Not exactly New Glarus but decent. dkoonce (899), People’s Republic of Athens, Ohio, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 22, 2007 Hazy gold, with a thick, tight white head. Very fruity aroma, if I had to guess, I’d say fankenberry cereal. Oliy mouth feel and heavy, with a sweetness that caries through to the finish. Not as much wheat as I’d expected. In fact, not much of a presence at all. Apellonious (53), USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 21, 2007 Do you have something against fruity beer? This one may change your mind. Pours a pale gold with a decent head that hangs as the beer goes down. Crisp, but doesn’t feel thin. What does a boysenberry taste like? Somthing between a rasberry and a blueberry. You’ll be burping "fruity" in no time. Smells like it tastes, with floral hints. Can’t imagine drinking more than one or two in a sitting, but other than that, a good beer for it’s style. henry3r (586), Wichita, Kansas, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 21, 2007 The 12 ounce bottle poured a slightly hazy apricot colored beverage with a small fizzy white head that was mostly diminishing and left some lacing on the glass. The aroma was fruity. The primary component was, of course the aroma of boysenberries but there were also earthy, musty notes a light citrus component too. The body was medium-light with soft carbonation and a smooth, creamy texture. The flavor starts out lightly sweet and remains so throughout the medium-length finish. The flavors of fresh boysenberries and, to some extent nutty bread are definitely there.

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Apr 20, 2007 Thgis is the best fruit beer i can remember ever having. The wheat contains some dry flavor of it’s own, complimenting the boysenberry. The drink is a smooth creamy beer. In fact, I’m attempting to brew a clone of this tonight at home. kreepindeth (405), Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 15/20 | Apr 20, 2007 Rich berry aromatics. Pours a very light hazy, pale yellow. Body is light, tart, and crisp. Very solid fruit beer. jcp23 (47), Duluth, Georgia, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 18, 2007 Bottle EB6/07. Pours attractive hazy, light golden color, with quickly dissipating white foam. Some very light, spotty lacing. Nice crisp, fresh, fruity aroma. Flavor is tart fruitiness, clean, and refreshing. There is a grainy astringency that contributes some bite to the palate. Well carbonated. Not personally that much familiarity with boysenberry flavor, so I’m not sure how I feel about it in general, although it seems appealing enough. Overall, I thought this was a pretty well executed effort, and would enjoy it’s attributes on a warm summer’s day. Congrats Ken! Thaichile (599), 10aFly, New Jersey, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Apr 18, 2007 Bottle. Pours a light pinkish gold withot much of a head. Nose is very light with maybe some distant fruit. Flavor is perfumed with lavender soap and sweetness. The soapy part of this beer was distracting from the remaining nuances. The fruit part was quite nice though but overall this was barely OK.
