Created by Ken Smith, Colorado. Ken describes his brew as having "a refreshing light taste and cereal crispness from the wheat malt." This unfiltered ale has a rich, fresh fruitiness balanced by a citrus note from the Noble hops.

Pours hazy gold with thin white head. Very very berry aroma which is not carried through in the bland palateless taste. Aroma is great, taste is very disappointing.

Nice gold color with a somewhat small white head. Aroma is of boysenberries, blackberries. Definite fruit flavor, but well-balanced with hops and was not too sweet, as is a concern for any fruit beer. A well-made brew.

Hazy gold color with a thin head. Wow! Brutally strong fruit aroma of boysenberries and honey. Interesting mix of sweet fruit and bone dry malt in the taste. It’s nice to have a fruit beer that isn’t cloyingly sweet. Very nice!

Thin frothy head of fine bubbles. Nice fruity aroma with blue raspberry or blueberry yogurt like Paul stated. Light malts in the background. Color is a hazy dark gold. Light fruity flavor. Peaches and raspberry but does not overpower and does not taste synthetic which is a huge accomplishment for a fruit brew like this. Light wheat notes. Soft malts for backbone. Finish is slightly sweet and with a lingering dry fruitness. A pretty darn good fruit brew. Props to Sam Adams and Ken Smith.

Pours with a very slight haze, Light golden to yellow/straw and a foamy white head and nice lacing. Aroma is surprisinlgy nice and fruity- boysenberry- kinda like the yogurt, reminds me a littel of blueberries. The fruit prettty much dominates the wheat character in the nose, but the flavor of wheat comes throuhg nice, crackery and grainy without being harsh. Nice and smooth and reminds me a bit of cream of wheat. Relatively smooth finish. Surprisingly good and very drinkable. Also nice, that this really is quite unique, and I hanvet had anything quite like it that was any good.

Pours light hazy orange with a large frothy off-white head. The aroma has lots of boysenberry that is very nice and quite authentic. There is also some spice and concord grape traits. Very crisp and enticing. Medium body that is a bit thicker than most wheats and there is quite a bit of carbonation. The taste starts with rich lightly sweet malt with a light amount of berry taste. The finish has spicy / citrus hops. Very nice wheat brew that I would gladly buy a six pack 0f on its own. Now it is time to try the other two longshots.

Bottle poured a clear golden amber with a small lingering ivory head. Aromas of boysenberry and a hint of cereal. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of cereal, dough and light boysenberry with a crisp fruity finish.
