Commercial Description:
Created by Ken Smith, Colorado. Ken describes his brew as having "a refreshing light taste and cereal crispness from the wheat malt." This unfiltered ale has a rich, fresh fruitiness balanced by a citrus note from the Noble hops.

Really has a nice slightly faint boysenberry aroma and a good heady appearance. The taste actually has a little more fruitiness than hops which is good. Overall, I was really pleasantly surprised by a beer in a style I don’t like and a fruit beer at that. Pretty good stuff, probably because it’s not all that wheay. Must be had in small quantities, though.

Cloudy golden liquid with a dissipating off-white head. Capt Crunch with Crunchberries, or what ever it was called, aromas. Everything from the sweet cereal to the ultra fruity berries. I think my kids would like the smell of this one, me I’m not quite sure. Yes, it has some malt and cereal, but the fruit seems over the top - at least in the aroma. LIght sweet pale malt with berries and a light citrus nip. Ok, this is a fruit beer, I have not quarrel with that. Just like some over the top imperials, this is a fruity fruit beer. I catch a touch of the hops, but somehow I thing a bigger dose would really set this one apart. I like it for what it is.

Pour is a hazy yellow with a big white head. Aroma is deffinatly berry and not much else. Flavor is almost a artificial berry with some sugar added. Finish is sweet and fizzy. Not really a good wheat or fruit beer.

Hazy yellow color with a fluffy head. Fruit loops in the aroma. Not completely unpleasant fruity taste that is tart and sweet. I have no desire to try this one again.

Pours a cloudy yellow, very little foam. Aroma is mostly fruity, a bit pungent. Tastes like a fruit roll-up dunked into a wheat beer. Eh, not bad, but not particularly good.

A sweet surprise for a fruit flavored beer. Poured like a good heif. Tasted quality with seni-sweet boysenberry aftertaste.

Thanks Kingpin for all the brews from this great series, boysenberry pretty much dominates the aroma here, the taste is fruity, light, but surprisingly pleasing, ,the sweetness is very agreeable and despite the fruity sweetness, this would seem to be a nice summer refresher, boysenberry is not my thing, but this is a well made beer

Bottle. Porued a murkey reddish golden color. Aroma of blueberrys, strawberries, and malt. Taste is kinda of tart and malty.
