Jul 3, 2009 Poured from bottle with a good orange and tan head. Cranberry aroma. Cranberry and cinnamon there but not overpowering. Very nice mix of flavors. Tart in front, creamy feel in back of mouth. Not too sweet or juicy. Well done.

Jul 2, 2009 12 ounce bottle from a 6er that was purchased at Bevmo in Vacaville, CA. Sweet, candy sugar aroma with some berry notes present. These are obviously cranberry notes. This also has some metallic vomit-like notes as well. Modestly hazy golden body with a pretty large, frothy white head and lots of lacing present. Starts off with plenty of biscuity, chewy wheat malt flavors. Some milk-like notes are also in there. Finishes with a dash of berry flavor, but it is definitely not overpowering and it compliments the beer pretty nicely. Well-balanced and not bad for the style. The aroma is kind of off, though.

Jul 1, 2009 Bottle thanks to Swalden 28. Clear look, goldenish in color, smaller white head. The smell is fruity, honey, sweet, but off. The taste is sweet, weak, very plain, some fruits.

Jun 28, 2009 Hmm. Decent, sweet aroma. Cloudy yellow pour, with light bubbly head. Light flavor, but most of the flavor seems masked by too much carbonation. Might be a good brew if there was not so much carbonation but I usually don’t expect much from Sam.

Jun 24, 2009 Bottle. Hazy strawberry/orange colored pour with little carbonation and slightly sweet cranberry aroma. Flavor was initially very good, some sweet strawberry/cranberry flavor followed by some citrus. However the finish was kind of off IMO. Ok, but not worthy of being a year round brew.

Jun 24, 2009 12 oz bottle. Pours a cloudy orange with a 2 finger white head that results in spotty lacing. The nose is spicy yeast and very faint cranberry. The flavour begins with an almost indiscernible cranberry note and quickly moves into a pure wheat presence with a kinda cream soda like ending and slightly sourish. The cranberry tartness seems to mesh up better for the style than SA’s mass produced Blackberry Wit.

Jun 22, 2009 12 oz bottle. Pours a somewhat clear golden amber color. Aroma is a mild sweet caramel and malt, touch of cranberry. Flavor is light, tart cranberry - nice solid wheat flavor backs it up. Last year the "weak" one was the grape LongShot. This year the weak one was better.
