Lots of wheat malt is definitely present in the aroma as well as a hint of cinnamon stick. The flavor is very similar with the cinnamon being a bit more pronounced. This beer is becomes sweeter in the middle with notes of clover honey and bready malt and then finishes slightly more dry with additional spice coming through. This beer has a medium-light body and is somewhat refreshing. However, I don’t really pick up any cranberry in either the aroma or flavor whatsoever. For all intensive purposes, that descriptor really could have been left out of the name as I just can’t find any cranberry in this beer. Oh well, it is still decent overall, but I am a bit disappointed. All of that having been said, what is missing from this beer is any artificial flavor and that is a good thing!
12 fl. oz. bottle (Purchase before SEP 2009) from Party Town in Florence, KY. Rating #165 for this beer.

The aroma was tart and bitter berry. The flavor was tart and sweet with vague berries, sugar and yeastiness. There was a light musty dry spice undertone. The finish was long dry berries and musty spice. Decent. rocbyter (926), Waterbury, Connecticut, USA

The cranberry and spices delicately applied. Creamy mouth feel. A lot of fruit beers taste artificial. Not this one. It tastes fresh and real. It’s like your drinking it from the tap out of the bottle. I hope they make this a regular beer. If you haven’t tried it go get it while you can. tennisjoel (951), Shakopee, Minnesota, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 30, 2009 Pours a hazy orange with a sufficient white head. Tart cranberry noticed as well as wheat. Pretty plain jane and the cranberry is very suble. This would suit a novice drinker pretty well I would guess. I actually like this a little better than the first time I had it. Nothing spectacular by any means, but drinkable for sure. HighlanderOne (546), Somewherein, New Jersey, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 30, 2009 Poured from bottle. Cranberry bread aroma. Burnt orange, opaque, tan head persists. Cranberry and cinnamon there but not overpowering. Very nice mix of flavors. Tart in front, creamy feel in back of mouth. Not too sweet or juicy. Well done - better that I thought it would be. mwelsh13 (483), Maryland, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | May 30, 2009 12oz bottle pours medium hazy orange. Sweet orange aroma with a bit of spcie and sweetness in the aroma. Sticky sweet body with some spiciness and a off fruit flavor throughout. Does not taste like cranberry. Great idea, but disappointing. jhumphries69 (735), Tyrone, Georgia, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 29, 2009 12oz bottle. Pours very cloudy - almost opaque - with orange/gold notes and subtle touches of grapefruit-pink. Head pours medium in size and white in color. It doesn’t last long, but it does leave a few long wisps of lace on the glass. Aroma is bready and dry with lots of wheat and subtle fruit. Malt character has a wonderful fresh bread quality with subtle aromatic spices - very inviting. Flavor starts fruity and wheaty with a very subtle cranberry tartness that blends perfectly with typical witbier flavors. It has an excellent, crackery, fruity malt sweetness that turns to pleasant mix of tartness and light noble hop bitterness in the finish. The finish is dry and spicy with gentle notes of coriander and tart berry. The mouthfeel is tingly and effervescent with a sudsy, almost creamy, bready, malty medium body. Overall, a surprisingly refreshing, interesting, drinkable, tasty, warm weather brew.
