Commercial Description:
Created by Samuel Adams Employee Carissa Sweigart. Brewed with ingredients signature to Carissa’s home of Massachusetts this Cranberry Wit is spiced with a blend of cinnamon, orange peel, coriander and grains of paradise, and finished with a touch of cranberry. This bright, fruity and refreshing brew is reminiscent of an autumn day in New England.

12oz Bottle – Tacoma Boys – Tacoma, WA
Aroma: Light wheat ale with very little fruit.
Appearance: Light golden in color, clear with a thin head.
Flavor: A nice wheat ale with some fruit flavor which was very light.
Palate: Dry finish, with a OK Mouthfeel.
Overall: A nice brew this is hard not to add too much so they did a decent job for not overkill.

Bottle from Monument in Concord, CA. Hazy orange gold color with a decent white head. Aromas of wheat, fruit and spice. Near medium body with frothy carbonation. It’s astringent. Flavor is wheat, citrus/coriander and arguably some cranberry bitter. Finishes bitterish. It is refreshing after packing a couple of trade boxes.

12 oz bottle: Aroma is big tart cranberry aroma, pungent wheat in the background, and that’s about it. Appearance is a cloudy yellowish/ orange with a very thick white head that lingers. Taste is some cranberry, light wheat textures, and a small tart note. Palate has got a lingering cranberry taste in the aftertaste, mouthfeel is carbonated and rather bland to say the least. Overall, It’s a decent thing that I would drink a lot of just because it’s summer and I want something fruity. Nothing I would stop and savor. Cheers!

Bottle from City Beer Store in SF. The least impressive of this year’s LongShots, by a LongShot. First of all, I’m glad this is called a "fruit beer" on here because there’s nothing Begian or witty about it - and I’m not just trying to be "witty" (get it, WIT-ty?). Hazy orangish-yellow color with an off-white head. Aroma of wheat and cranberry. Flavor of wheat and cranberry with mild coriander and cinnamon. Decent but not too exciting.
