Commercial Description:
Created by Samuel Adams Employee Carissa Sweigart. Brewed with ingredients signature to Carissa’s home of Massachusetts this Cranberry Wit is spiced with a blend of cinnamon, orange peel, coriander and grains of paradise, and finished with a touch of cranberry. This bright, fruity and refreshing brew is reminiscent of an autumn day in New England.

12oz bottle served in a shaker pint. Poured a hazy gold with a hint of pink. About two fingers of big bubbled white head. Plenty of berry in the aroma with some wheaty spice. Plenty of carbonation as per style. More berry in the flavor, but not overly sweet. This is a fairly dry beer. Pretty complex flavors. The berry is fairly subtle. Nice spicy finish from the yeast. I had low expectations for this beer, but it is very nice.

Bottle. Spicey aroma not much cranberry. Hazy yellow body with white head. Moderate amount of fruit to keep tou interested along with lemon zest. Cranberry left on palate but berry flavor and aroma are somewhat mild in the beer.

The only thing wrong with the beer is how typical it is. This tastes like every other cranberry infused beer out there. I like this style of beer but it’s very rare to find one that stands out. Aroma was the typical spices with a musty cranberry backbone. Pour was a nice hazy light orange with a 2 finger white head. Taste was typcial for the style. Corriander and clove with the tart raspberry dominating. NIce carbonation.

Not much aroma. Great cloudy orange color. This is way better than I expected. A bit of thickness. Some fruit flavors but really not much cranberry, so this was surprisingly good and drinkable.

Hazy amber pour with a foamy, white head. Slightly sour aroma with notes of bread, lemon zest, and a faint cranberry tartness. Cloying, kinda artificial, sweet flavor with notes of cinnamon, clove, corn, bread, yeast, and cranberry. Medium body with a fair amount of carbonation. I made the mistake of drinking the Double IPA, which was great, out of this six pack first and then this.

Pours a pinkish brown with white head. No real aroma, but a bit of fruit. Flavor soft but tart. Does not linger, fades quickly. Drinkable but but also forgettable.

Bottle, #472. Hazy yellow pour with big head and good lacing. Semi sweet aroma, but not much. Bit of fruitness and sweetness in the flavor. Semi decent brew.

pours a strange pinkish golden colour, murky ... . has a great set of foam .. . lacing is good to .. . light sharp cranberry aroma, subtle fruitiness .. . easy to drink, but a bit to sharp for me, but refreshing as a mother... i could enjoy this on a hot day but a bit to muddled for me ... A severed foot is the ultimate stocking stuffer.
