Commercial Description:
Created by Samuel Adams Employee Carissa Sweigart. Brewed with ingredients signature to Carissa’s home of Massachusetts this Cranberry Wit is spiced with a blend of cinnamon, orange peel, coriander and grains of paradise, and finished with a touch of cranberry. This bright, fruity and refreshing brew is reminiscent of an autumn day in New England.

Didn’t really like it. Cranberries and wheat. Gonna try it again soon and maybe re-rate it.

Pours pink with an off white head. Smells of cranberries, coriander, sweet wheat. Tastes of coriander, some touches of cranberry, ginger. I like this.

Bottle, pours a hazy orange with a light pink hue, tall white head. Aroma is peachy, some yeast and a light cranberry in the background. Flavors are full wheat body, some light sweet tart fruit in the finish with a lingering orange peel flavor. Pleasantly suprised by this one, I like it.

Pours very cloudy orange with a big rocky head and thick lacing. Wheat aromas are clear, with a modest tartness from the cranberries. Cranberries are much stronger on the palate, along with the orange peel, and the cinnamon is barely noticeable. Not overly tart, however. Light body, plenty of carbonation, and very refreshing. Tons better than that lambic atrocity.

Bottle->footed lager: Pours a white, rocky head atop a cloudy, yellow body. Aroma of cranberry and grain. Flavor’s duration is average, medium bodied, with a creamy texture. Eh, like most fruit-inspired beers, this one royally ceases to impress.

Cloudy goden yellow with a small white head. Little cranberry aroma. Cranberry sweetness and malt flavor. The cranberry flavor seemed to go away after the third sip. I didn’t get much of the other flavors mentioned, but it was o.k.

Bottle from BevMo. Hazy orange in color. Spiced grainy aroma with a little fruitiness. Nice spiced flavors. A hint of fruit in the finish. Some wheat flavors as well.

Pours a cloudy orange with an off white head. Aroma is malt, a little wheat, some faint cranberry tartness. Flavor was very smooth, a little sweet, just a hint of tart on the back end. This was a very "soft" beer and not what I was really expecting from a cranberry brew. It almost seems like that in an effort to balance out the tartness of the cranberry there was almost to much sweetness added. Interesting and pretty refreshing, but overall just a little to sweet.
