Commercial Description:
Bruce describes his classic German-style lager as "pale gold in color with a blend of Pilsner maltiness and a mild hops aroma. The bitterness is just enough to balance the taste of the malt." Bruce is a former music teacher who began homebrewing 13 years ago when his wife gave him a kit for Christmas. He has since become an accomplished homebrewer and shares his knowledge and passion for beer by teaching classes in homebrewing and beer appreciation.

Clear gold, thin foamy white head. Veggie, cereal, grainy aroma. Surprisingly thisk body. A bit sweet, with a nice peppery finish.

Bottle. Pours a rich gold with nice effervescence and a lacy head. Aroma is corn syrup and rosy honey. Flavor is like a cheap malt liquor: full of corn, weak malt, and stale hops. Coats the tongue nicely, however. I’ll avoid this in the future.

12oz bottle, courtesy of argo0. Thanks, Aaron! Pours a clear, medium honey-orange color; fluffy, off-white head with great retention and lacing. Musty, overripe grapes and candy sugar in the aroma; some honey. Medium mouthfeel: lively carbonation, with lots of sugary sweetness and wet malts; some citrus bitterness keeping things balanced - still, slightly acrid going down. Medium, citrus and sugar finish; hints of a plastic off-flavor.

12oz bottle. Golden colored with a 3/8 inch white head. Aroma of grain with some honey and hops in the background. Sweet malt up front with honey and clover towards the finish. Tasty and refreshing.

Bottle. Golden bodied with a small white head. Lots of malt in the aroma. Subtle hops and lemon as well. Taste is malty and semi-sweet. Bigger hops presence here along with grains, lemon and almost an herbal like taste. Body is smooth but bubbly, with a light-medium mouthfeel. It seems sort of slick as if the carbonation is denser than most beers. Finishes with more malts, flowery hops, biscuit notes and soft lemon. Not bad.

I enjoyed this "deep" beer. It has the lager consistancy, but the taste of a pilsner, with a little Rolling Rock mixed in. An interesting mix. But done well. i can see why they chose it to be represented in this mix pack.

Pours a bright, clear, bubbling yellow. Aroma is of sweet malt and some earthy hops. Very crisp mouthfeel with a sharp hop bite in the finish.

Props to KAggie97 for hooking me up with this. Rich golden honey color with thin white head. Nose is doughy biscuts with light roasted grains. Taste is sweeter than I expected, but not overwhelmingly so. Nice clover and light honey flavors work well with the mild hops that stick around for the finish. Nice Pilsner malt.
