| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 21, 2007 Bottle. Poured clear dark amber with an large frothy white head that diminished slowly with fair lacing. Moderate malty and tart citrus aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Well balanced flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Interesting beer that I have shared with a freind. DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 21, 2007 This average rating is a goddamned travesty! The pour is straw colored with 1-finger sticky white head. Aroma of grainy bready malt, some honey, hopcitrus. Medium palate heft, complex, with flavors of pale grainy malt, apricot, honey. This one is very good, in spite of what the Sam Adams and Jim koch haters would try to have you believe. ilikestuff (222), Fort Worth, Texas, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Feb 20, 2007 Pours a clear gold with a nice white head. Solid malt aroma with some breadiness, honey, a hint of fruity esters, and a mild grassy hop profile. Nice malty body to the flavor with a grassy hop balance. There is something slightly adjunct-like in the finish that I don’t really care for. Has a nice fullness to the body for a lager. Overall it’s nothing spectacular, but a good drinkable brew. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 20, 2007 Plain and typical golden straw color with white film of foam. Aroma is light and decked with grain and grass. Crisp and sweet flavor of grains and sourgrass. Quite refreshing on a warm sunny San Diego day.
