Fantastic, tight retention. Faint note of honey in the subtle aroma. Medium-bodied with a lightly creamy mouthfeel and relaxed carbonation. Way too sweet. White grapes, honey, toffee. Not nearly enough bitterness to approach any semblance of balance. Finishes sweetly as well. Kudos to headbanger for his generosity! jake65 (1698), Williston, North Dakota, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 25, 2008 Bottle: Bright golden pour with a smidgen of citrus hops and maltiness. Flavor is hoppy and a bit fruity, but the grape certainly doesn’t stand out. Decent effort, but unexciting. MaltDawg (778), Richmond, Virginia, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | May 25, 2008 Clear golden amber with small off white head. Light caramel aroma with some fruityness. Carmelized malt with fruity sweetness and little hop flavor. Very low bitterness, dry grainey finish with touch of astringency. DougShoemaker (2856), Toronto, Canada
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 25, 2008 Aroma of light malt, some good hops, and a trace of fruit, which I can’t really say is grape? Amber, small custard head. Taste has a nice malty start, a good hop bite. Light bodied, balanced, easy drinking. Good stuff. Thanks Torontoblue. KnN (721), Greenbelt, Maryland, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | May 25, 2008 Had this a party where somone told me it was the best long shot they’d ever had. Unfortunately it didn’t quite live up to the hype. Poured a nice copper color. The aroma was challenging which was kind of fun. There was something there that reminded me of pancakes which I thought was weird until I read the bottle and saw that there was maple syrup in the beer. Flavor was ok. Nice malt presence, but the maple syrup/grapes combo wasn’t quite doing it for me. Kudos for creativity though. Butters (1646), Virginia, USA

White grape flavor. Medium fullish mouthfeel. Overall impression: some poured wine into my beer. Not a fan. maniac (2628), Richmond, Virginia, USA

More sweet grape flavors, with a touch of caramel. Very little hop flavor, with a dry slight bitter finish. Medium body with moderate carbonation. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 21, 2008 A wierd and boring fruit beer. Aroma was champagne-like with mostly light fruit. Pour was a medium amber with a thin off white film for a head. Taste was pretty weak. A strong white grape flavor with not much else. The flavor leaves 2 seconds after the swallow. Not full and not lasting.
