Commercial Description:
Created by Samuel Adams Employee Lili Hess, Hawaii This is a very creative spin on a pale ale. As Lili describes it, "It’s like you are drinking a pale ale after biting into a fresh green seedless grape." This delicate brew is light-bodied with unique sweet, yet dry flavors from the grapes. What a combination...

Clear amber-gold pour with a fizzy off-white head. Very light fruit and malt aroma. Grape was nearly undectable in the flavor, except for a bit of extra sweetness. The highlight was the ever so slight hop bite on the finish. Basically a good, but not great, Pale Ale.

The color was light golden/orange. The head was thin, cramy, and off-white. The aroma was light grape, tart, and caramel malt. The flavor was bran, copper, and very light grape. The palate was thin. The finish was waxy.

12-oz bottle. Pours clear copper with a small, fizzy, white head, somewhat lasting with fair lacing. Aroma is average malt (hay, meal, cereal), average hops (flowers, grass, fruit), light yeast (earth) with notes of grapes. Light bodied, thin texture, average carbonation, and a metallic finish. Average duration, light sweetness, acidity, and bitterness.

This amber ale poured with a generous beige head and a floral aroma. Unfortunately it has very little taste other than a thin malt backbone and a slightly hoppy finish.

2008 Bottle - Decent aroma, malt and fruit, but not grapey or mapley, I get a slight bit of tannin from the grapes, but otherwise a completely forgettable pale, not that good...
