Not a good beer. Didnt taste grapes at all, just a bad beer. I can taste a hint of maple syrup, but this beer should never have won ANYTHING.

Pours out a clear light amber color with a small white head, good amount of carbonation. Aroma is of sweet molasses and slight hop bitterness. Taste is interesting, sweet syrupy notes with some dry grape flavors. Hop is in there for some balance. Interesting combination of flavors.

Clear medium amber, decent head. Aroma is faintly of sweetish malts, some balancing hop bitterness, and faint tannic astringency. Flavor is pretty much a standard amber ale, malty, with some balancing hop bitterness. Not sure I could have picked out grape, but there is something very faintly astringent on the tongue that may be from the grape. Not bad, easy drinker. Would have liked a striking Muscat flavor, but it just isn’t there.

A light amber pour with a good 1 inch head, that’s very foamy. Nice malt, aroma with a hint of sugar and fruity sweetness.Complex flavor, of malt, oatmeal, sugar, fruit, and fruit peel. Not too overwhelming though. The grape tast is slight, very slight. The head diminishes quickly and the brew leaves some suds on the walls of the glass. The grape citrus and dryness comes through on the finish as the glass draws down.

Bottled. Poured translucent lighter orange with a short cap of white head. The aroma opened with sweet green grapes backed by soft caramel and grapefruit backing.. warmth brought out a touch of clover honey as it warmed.. pleasant. The flavor had more of that honey at its core, with mild grapefruit bitterness surrounding.. artificially-sweetened grape seeds stick on the finish.. there was nothing strikingly good here, but nothing unpleasant. Lighter-bodied and sweet on the palate with decent balance. Very drinkable.

12oz bottle-A light amber body with a nice small tight white head and an aroma of slight grape and a pale lager with some small malt and hops thrown in. Taste of hops and malt with pretty much no grape whatsoever. Would of like to have more grape but a pretty weak pale.

I’m not a big fan of pale ale’s, but I really enjoyed this one compared to others. I had a tough time tasting any grapes though.

Unengaging, mildly indistinguishable grape aroma. Crystal clear amber body, with vanishing thin, fizzy white head. Flavor started out kind of wine coolerish, then became rather strongly malty, somewhat mapley, and a bit dirty. I could actually hear the carbonation, like a cola. Ms.Hess’ description was reversed to my taste - the grape taste came after the "pale ale"(if you can call it that) taste, not before. The only remotely interesting or enjoyable aspect was the lingering grapiness tickling my tongue. Is this really the best of all the Longshot entries? Hmmm. Pass.
