Appearance: Pours a clear copper body with a small, fizzy white head.
Smell: Bready malt aroma with a touch of caramel and a handful of white grapes.
Taste: Gah! Caramel malt with a slice of toasted bread. Medium maple syrup sweetness. Grape flavor more in the sense of chewing up a grapeskin. Light bitterness fails to balance the sweetness present. Finishes pretty sweet.
Mouthfeel: A hair under medium for the body, a hair over medium for the carbonation.
Drinkability: A plain pale ale hampered with grape flavor and a bit more sweetness than needed. Hance07 (192), DownSouth, Georgia, USA

Honestly wouldnt have known this was a pale ale or had grape in it if not for the name. Its crisp and clean with a slightly sweet finish. I actually enjoyed it alot but the name is misleading. rcweir (121), Massachusetts, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Mar 11, 2008 Medium orange brown, moderately carbonated with small head. Aroma of yeast. Thick body with strong maltiness and grape finish fading into hops bitterness. Would not have guessed grapes were used if not mentioned on label. Syd (893), Waconia, Minnesota, USA

The aroma is malty and honey like; perhaps some grape there. The flavor is malty, grassy, ale fruit notes leaning towards grape, honey, and Cheerios. The palate is a bit thin to medium rich and fizzy. Overall, this is interesting at best. I suppose it works OK enough, but not my favorite. Now I have two others to have to consume... Flavor was unique, light grape flavor, very light, thank god, with a very nice maltiness as well as a nice very slight bitterness to compliment the taste......pretty good! | 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 5/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Mar 11, 2008 Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a vivid amber color with a large yellow-white head. The aroma was tangy and sweet grape. The flavor was sweet and sugary initially with noted grape flavors and turned oddly dry towards the finish. Yep it is grape, but I don’t get the pale ale part as there is no hop presence whatesoever. I can not say it is a disappointment only because I did not expect it to be any good. junon (216), Honolulu, Hawaii, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Mar 11, 2008 Liked the colour. I had to let this warm just a bit to care for it. Only when I was near the bottom of the glass did I really get any grape flavor. I think that "extra" flavoring saved this beer. Right on sista Lili.
