Commercial Description:
Created by Samuel Adams Employee Lili Hess, Hawaii This is a very creative spin on a pale ale. As Lili describes it, "It’s like you are drinking a pale ale after biting into a fresh green seedless grape." This delicate brew is light-bodied with unique sweet, yet dry flavors from the grapes. What a combination...

Bottle pours a medium light amber witha small fine lasting white head. I suppose that is grape that i smell in there. Very faint, though I suppose if you wanted serious grap there is always smuckers. I would call this an amber with a waft of grape notes. Don’t know if I taste it at all. Thanks to BuckeyeBoy

Bottle Pours out a light amber topped with a cream white head. Aroma of I guess light grape some malt. Tast kind of like a amber. I can’t pick up the grape much. Not to bad.

Really deep brassy gold, clear. Soft white head. Sweet juice-syrup aroma, with some cereal malt and a touch of leafy hop. Initially quite a sweet, almost syrupy mouthfeel. Not a true green grape flavour in my opinion, it has a softer edge to it with no tartness at all. More honey-ish really. The mid-palate is clean malts, and the finish has a stemmy/leafy quality with light bitterness. This came across as an english pale ale with a sweeter-than-average profile. Interesting.

12oz bottle poured into a Sam Adams special glass. SALGPA pours copper and malty looking with a medium-sized head that settles quickly. The aroma is malty with hints of honey and grape. Maybe the grape aroma is self-inflicted because of anticipation. I taste a decent malty beginning. It is heavy on the honey. The swallow is dominated by a very nice biscuit flavor. If the biscuit flavor came in earlier this beer would be better. All in all this is a decent beer but I really don’t taste grape. This may be a fruit beer in name but not flavor.

Not bad. Pours clear lighter gold with a big white head. Caramel malt and white grapes in the nose. Not a bad taste, very light. Metallic taste with bitter malt and sweet grapes. Worth trying.

Bottle. Dark amber pour with a thick, creamy, off-white head with decent lacing. Aromas of hops, bright green fruit, muscadine, and dog fart. Um. This beer doesn’t taste that nice to me. Malty, fewer hops than the smell would indicate. You can really taste the dog fart at the finish. I won’t buy this again.

12oz Bottle - 99 Bottles - Federal Way, WA
Aroma – Light pale ale aroma very little of the fruit comes through.
Appearance – Light golden color, Nice thin head and clear.
Flavor – Light pale ale flavor with very little to no fruit flavor.
Palate – Good Mouthfeel, Nice texture with a dry finish.
Overall – If this was a fruit beer I missed it. I did not taste one ounce of fruit nor anything that had fruit in it. Just a plain pale ale flavor.
