| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 25, 2008 Bottle. Pours copper, clear body, colored with a small white head, and some lacing. Aroma is bread with some caramel. Flavor is similar, hops really hide the grape flavor somewhat, but neither detracts from the other. Malt taste a little like wheat. Slight sweetness in the middle, and a dry finish. Very drinkable, not so memorable. FlssmrBrewAlum (1183), Lisle, Illinois, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Apr 6, 2008 12 oz. bottle. Poured a nice amber color with a nice head. Aromas were prominently malty and grainy with a touch of sweetness which I can only assume was the grape. Flavors are of malt and a sweetness reminscent of syrup and grapes (Which while I was drinking reminded me of the smell of raisin bran). A decent brew, but steps down from what I had hoped for or the level of excitement the name had me hoping for. Goodgrief (1161), Middletown, Delaware, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 5, 2008 My least favorite of all the Long Shot beers to date. Pour was a nice looking golden amber with a one finger head and nice lacing. Weak aroma of wet cardboard. The flavor was sweet sticky malts infused with an overripe grape flavor. The mouthfeel was really syrupy. This brew is certainly not light bodied with any dry flavors at all. SuperDave70 (1158), Beautiful Sunny Mesa, Arizona, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Apr 22, 2008 Clear amber-gold pour with a fizzy off-white head. Very light fruit and malt aroma. Grape was nearly undectable in the flavor, except for a bit of extra sweetness. The highlight was the ever so slight hop bite on the finish. Basically a good, but not great, Pale Ale. redlem (1155), Illinois, USA
| 1.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 6/20 | Jul 25, 2008 Actually the homebrewers description put me in a negative frame of mind. Green grapes are crap, especially the seedless kind, they have no taste and serve the lemmings who go to the grocery store. The only good green grape is an unripe concord which is so sour it gives you a stomach-ache after a couple. Perhaps that beer would of been good but not this crap. Gregis (1136), Shawnee, Kansas, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Apr 3, 2008 Pours a clear light orange with a finger of frothy, off-white head. The nose is sweet and fruity with notes of candy sugar, grapes and Juicy Fruit. Medium-bodied and slick with a dry, almost tannic, finish. I found it a bit overly dry for a beer this sweet; an odd effect. The label describes the flavor as being similar to "biting into a green seedless grape before drinking a pale ale." That is fairly accurate only the grape note is primarily of the skin rather than the flesh of the fruit. The result isn’t all that appealing. Of all the Longshot entries, this was in the top 3? kyzr (1132), Belgrade, Montana, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 17, 2008 Pours amber with nice sized brown head. Light hint of hops with some sweet notes from the malt. Flavor has some grape, but not the hit I thought. Really sweet with more caramel notes than grape. Pwn3d (1129), Manhattan, New York, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Feb 22, 2008 12oz bottle. Nose has faint grape, but thats cheifly because im forcing the aroma to comeout by thinking about it. Taste is a bit sweet but no grapes, smooth and nicely carbonated. but its lacking.
