Smells of citrus, hops, and malt, nothing too strong. Lightly carbonated, I really can’t make out what the flavors are in this beer. They are muddled, light, and unattractive. Wow, after reading Lili’s comments on the label about this beer tasting like “biting into a green grape”, I was quite underwhelmed by the product. I suppose this beer finishes with a touch of grape soda, but certainly not enough to redeem this boring pale ale. chicagodri (1061), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Mar 24, 2008 Pours a translucent orange/brown with a thin head. Not too much aroma, slightly sweet. Weird taste of fruit/caramel and a little weird bitterness. Didn’t balance well, and I actually only drank half the beer since I didn’t enjoy it at all. The other longshot they put out this year was much more enjoyable. rustychiles (1058), Mesa, Arizona, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Feb 14, 2008 Pours a clear brownish orange with 2 fingers of white head. Aroma is malt and maybe a little grape (or maybe i’m imagining it) the beer doesn’t have much taste and is very drinkable but I enjoy tasting my beer and all i taste here is a little maple syrup with a ever so slight hint of grape and malt. Not a bad beer, but nothing memorable either. bigrond (1054), factoryville, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Feb 29, 2008 this is a fruit beer with no fruit. Not in the aroma or the finish. It drinks real easy and is very smooth. I thought it was just okay. I drinks more like a pale lager than a fruit beer. jb (1053), Rochester, New York, USA

Toffee , earthiness and English stylings in the palate. Seems like a session - style English Pale ale. Do get a bit of coloring from the fruit in the background. Thanks Ron for the trade! jredmond (1049), New Jersey, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 29, 2008 12 oz bottle. There is practically no aroma, the beer pours a amber color with little head. The taste is pretty enjoyable. Surprisingly easy to drink, smooth and light. The fruit is not over dominating like with many fruit beers. pintsize (1042), Austin, Texas, USA

Clear amber color with no real head. Smells a bit doughy and malty (not much grape at all). Very pale lager reminiscent. Flavor is a bit strange. Nothing that screams, or even whispers, grape. Watery and thin overall. Sweet flavor but just too thin for me.
