Pours a clear gold into the glass with minimal head. Really light beer that has a welch’s white grape juice taste with some pale ale sprinkled in. Interesting concept, but doesn’t really work for me

Clear golden amber color with a small, foamy head. Don’t let the ’pale ale’ in the name fool you as the hop aroma and flavors are minimal. Aroma is light, sweet, fruity malt. Flavor is crisp and fruity with a bit of malt, acidity and a light, sweet grape finish. Not a pale ale at all but a good, refreshing light lager.

The pour is orange-ish pink-ish hued. The head is white and sudsy. The aroma is slight hoppy with sweet characteristics... The only reason you think there may be a grape aroma is due to the name. The beer is pretty high in carbonation, light. the grape flavor is dry and crisp. The finish is not as sharp as I would like, and there is a touch of lingering aftertaste. I’m not a fruit beer guy....

Bottle. Pours a typical pale golden color, small white head. Aroma is decent but average, light malt, beer smell. Flavor is dissappointing. Bland pale ale flavor with a macro character. Grape flavor doesn’t become evident til end of glass. Semi dry. Maybe something was lost in the transition from homebrew to mass production. Drinkable but boring.

Pours a orange/red color-clear with a moderate white head. Aroma is light with a little bit of hop and sweet grape. Wheat with moderate white grape presence and some earthiness. A little piney Cascade hops. The finish is a little sticky-medium body. Not as good as their Boysenberry Wheat if you want to go with a fruit beer. The stickiness/syrupiness makes this more unpleasant that it should be.

Certainly a different take on Pale Ale. Didn’t quite hit the Pale Ale mark nor was the grape flavor enough to get that fruit beer feeling. Refreshing, though, just a bit too light-bodied for my taste.

12 oz. bottle. This one’s a mess. Lots of interesting flavors, but they don’t blend well. At all. Interesting concept, horrible execution.

Pours a nice copper kettle color with a short lasting head. No lacing. Smells like those orange "circus peanut" marshmellows you ate as a kid. Light and sweet, but not overly so. Maple syrup is very detectable in both the flavor and consistency. Little after-taste. This is unique, but not great. Unusual, but not a freak. I recommend you try it, but I doubt you’ll make it a regular.
