| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Mar 7, 2008 Pours a translucent golden amber with a n average bubbly off white head. Aroma of sweet malts, grains, some caramel, honey, some grapes and just the slightest touch of hops. Flavor of grape skins, honey, some caramel and bready notes, a touch of hop bitterness, on the dry side with a touch of sweetness. If this won the top spot in the Longshot Comp I have a feeling the original beer was a bit different then this. daknole (3000), Scottsdale, Arizona, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/20 | Mar 15, 2008 Not a good beer. Didnt taste grapes at all, just a bad beer. I can taste a hint of maple syrup, but this beer should never have won ANYTHING. shrubber85 (2989), Wallhalben, Germany

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jun 18, 2008 In the bottle at the 2008 Crescent Moon Extreme Beerfest. Pours dark gold with a white head. The finish is a bit wine-like, but I don’t really get strong grape flavors. I don’t think that I understand this beer. Not something I’d recommend. JK (2961), Richfield, Minnesota, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Feb 9, 2008 Some artificial grape flavor. Moderate hops, really a light pale ale. I don’t think I would notice the grape if I wasn’t expecting it to be there. Well carbonated, and a bright gold color. BMan1113VR (2938), Los Angeles (and Dallas), Texas, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 21, 2008 Sent a photo in to be uploaded. Aroma is of grapes, bitterness and some moderate citrus hops. Large, rocky, off-white head with good lacing but only fair retention. Clear, medium, orangey body. Taste is sweet with no real strong grape character. Pretty boring. Watery body with fizzy carbonation, pales in comparison to the other longshot that it is paired with.
