Commercial Description:
Created by Samuel Adams Employee Lili Hess, Hawaii This is a very creative spin on a pale ale. As Lili describes it, "It’s like you are drinking a pale ale after biting into a fresh green seedless grape." This delicate brew is light-bodied with unique sweet, yet dry flavors from the grapes. What a combination...

Bottle from BevMo. Medium amber/brown in color. Somewhat bready malty aroma. Roasty malted flavor. A hint of hoppy bitterness towards the end. Tastes like a million other average pale ales.

Some artificial grape flavor. Moderate hops, really a light pale ale. I don’t think I would notice the grape if I wasn’t expecting it to be there. Well carbonated, and a bright gold color.

12 oz. bottle, part of Longshot Six Pack, from BevMo LaJolla. Pours bright, clear orangey amber with a smallish head the diminished quickly. Predominantly toasty malt aroma with light fruity and floral notes and a bit of perfume. Grainy malts in the flavor, with zesty, bitter grape and hop notes, along with an interesting umami undertone near the finish. Light to medium body and crispy carbonation.

Didn’t really notice the grape. Tasted like a normal pale ale with a little bit of crispness. I guess grapes should stay with wine.

Bottle from Belmont Party. Poured clear copper with an average frothy off-white head that was mostly lasting and produced fair lacing. Medium fruity hoppy aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture. Medium tart citrus flavor with a medium sweet finish of average duration. Interesting drinkable beer.

Bottle Pours out a light amber topped with a cream white head. Aroma of I guess light grape some malt. Tast kind of like a amber. I can’t pick up the grape much. Not to bad.

Pours an amber color with an off-white head. Aroma is of caramel, very slight floral hop aroma, and some sweetness. Flavor is pretty sweet with caramel and fruit. Dry finish but not much hop character. It’s present but not very strong at all.

Bottle: Bright golden pour with a smidgen of citrus hops and maltiness. Flavor is hoppy and a bit fruity, but the grape certainly doesn’t stand out. Decent effort, but unexciting.
