Pours amber with thin mocha head. The aroma is malty with the addition of molasses, ripe dark grapes and mild musty earthiness. The taste has a nice maltiness mixing with rich dark fruity esters of grapes, boysenberries and prunes. Very nice bold flavors that could easily age another couple of years. Very tasty. Into the finish I get a bit of sweet silky caramel candy to go along with the other notes. kiefdog (1637), Tampa, Florida, USA
