| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 31, 2009 Pours deep clear amber with minute long tan head. The aroma emits cherries, plums, some roastiness, earthiness and faint oxidation. The taste starts with a modest note of smooth sweetness from cherry notes, plums and malts and being punctuated briefly by a carbonation burst. By midway mild notes of caramel and slowly building malt roastiness take this into the finish. It ends with a renewed ripe plum and cherry sweet fruitiness. IlanMan (850), Appleton, Wisconsin, USA

Aroma was of sweet malt, caramel, molasses, and light chocolate. Body is very full with sweet malt prevailing int eh flavor accompanied by light fruity yeast characters, toast, a bit more caramel, and brown sugar. I liked the overall balance of the beer quite well. Nice job Alex. biznizness (952), Mooresville, North Carolina, USA
