| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 8, 2009 Pours a transparent dark copper brown with a thin froth of off-white head. Aroma of sweet doughy dark caramel German malts with a hint of brown sugar and noble hops. Starts with good fullness and a rich, doughy dark caramel husky sweetness with some light fruity tones and a full bodied, yet very drinkable sweet malty finish. Has just the right amount of noble hoppy bitterness throughout. A very well made and true to style Dunkler Bock that is amazingly drinkable. jcwattsrugger (5361), Florida and, New Jersey, USA
