Commercial Description:
Created by Rodney Kibzey, Illinois Rodney describes his wonderfully complex brew as "deep amber in color with a full creamy body and a dark fruit and clove aroma." This traditional Bavarian style brew took Rodney a few batches to perfect, but the taste is worth all of his hard work.

12 oz bottle: Caramel, wheat , yeast, banana are all in the aroma. Pours a muddy murky brown with a medium sized tan head that lingers. Taste is quite nice with the banana prevalent, wheat, clove, and dark fruit are all inside of this one. Aftertaste is surprisingly creamy for a Weizenbock. Overall, pretty darn good wheat bock in my honest opinion. Cheers!

12oz bottle purchased as part of the 08 Longshot 6-pack at Lou’s in Augusta. Pours a murky opaque with a half inch of light tan head. Smells smokey, nutty, with banana. Tastes like banana, nut, yeast, with hints of bubblegum and smoke with an almost clean finish. Full-bodied with somewhat subdued carbonation. This beer definitely falls closer to the "sipper" category, but one sip definitely invites another one. Pretty tasty example of a style that isn’t the easiest to come by.

The color was murky brown. The head was creamy and off-white. The aroma was spice, dark frew, and sweet. The flavor was spice, sweet, and banana. The palate was medium-bodied. The finish was warm.

Pours a dark murky brown with a medium head. The aroma is a real smack in the face. Big clove, bubblegum, ripened fruits and spicy malt. Wonderful. Flavor is malts, spice, clove, bananna. What a suprise this was. Thank you Mr. Kibzey.

I didnt know what to expect comming into this beer. It is my first of the longshot beers. It poured a dark copper brown with great head and a froathy lacing. Tasted sweet but also had a hint of clove or spice, but not too much. Smooth and gives a good palate feel. Nice beer.

Pours dark, murky brown with a full inch of tan head. Plenty of spicy banana and clove aroma. Flavor is highly malty and produces similar characters as the aroma, banana and other sweet fruit most predominantly. Goes down easily but the sweetness eventually becomes too much.
