Aroma of strong banana and clove, some dark fruits, toasted malt and nuts. Flavor of the same banana and clove, dark fruits, toffee, some nuts and toasty malt. Nice and smooth with a ton of flavor! | 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Sep 28, 2008 Bottle. Sweet peach/banana, clove and wheat malt with just a hint of alcohol. Cloudy orange-brown color with small head. Sweet ripe banana/peach, clove, and wheat malt flavor. Light alcohol aftertaste. A spectacular beer - they really need to make this a regular beer. I just automatically expect that US Weizens won’t match German ones but this is one that not only stands up to the style but exceeds my expectations. Thank God I found this beer.
