Apr 23, 2008 Bottle into Weizen glass. Poured a rich oxblood/mud color with a plentiful tan head that laced thick and marvelous: very satisfying to see. The aroma was very spicy and sweet, full of fruits and warmth. Flavor was much more of th spice, a malty, slight roasty sweetness, and more fruit at the finish. Palate was clean, some lingering sweet, much lingering spice. This was a very warming beer, very flavorful, but maybe just a touch spicy. Maybe not, however. Try this again on a cool evening and I might have a different impression.

Mar 20, 2008 Bottle - Pours a nice sugary clouded brown, with only a slight head that clings to the glass. Sugary sweet flavor with an interesting aftertaste, based on the description I assume it’s clove and other spices. Very good complex flavor.

Aug 13, 2008 12oz bottle. Pours sludgy brown with a creamy offwhite head, good lace. Smells of bready malt, clove and sweet spices. Tastes bready malty and spicy sweet, fruity with a bit of pepper. Medium body, good carbonation.

Mar 28, 2008 Brown, cloudy, frothy. smells pretty good, like caramel, some fruit. Taste is banana, malt, some clove. Very tasty, and pretty impressive. I can gush about how this beer is the best I’ve had from sam adam’s, and I’m a big sam adam’s fan, but the beer speaks for itself. Try it.

Aug 4, 2008 I picked up a bottle this weekend at 99 Bottles on Auburn, WA. It poured kind of a merky muddy brown with for me No Head. though once swirled in the glass built a nice tan head. It feels very smooth creamy which was quite pleasent. This is my first Weizen Bock and i enjoyed it emensely.

May 25, 2008 Yeasty cloudy brown with small off white head. Nice fruity yeast notes in aroma with carmelized/roast malts with some bannana and lots of peppery clove. Flavor includes some fruity malt sweetness with spicy hop and yeast phenolics. Medium mouthfeel with some nice spicey hops in the finish. Nice job.
