Flavor is like a toasted chocolate covered banana. I even got some ice cream to drizzle this over and it was just marvelous. My wife enjoyed it very much as well. Well done Rodney! ratman197 (3248), Arvada, Colorado, USA

Beautiful pour, awesome head, with a muddy copper brown body that is completely unfiltered. Aroma is lightly metallic, wheaty (almost smells like its just begun germinating) with a touch of tomato and pure dark chocolate. The body is thick and perfect, though the beer is very slightly chalky. The flavor is slightly sweet and very grainy, and there a mild ethanol burn far into the finish. Taste is a spicy, fuity, with yeast and malt flavor. Texture is thick but easy to drink. Over all a pretty enjoyable beer! drowland (1418), Tallahassee, Florida, USA

She said that it was really tasty. So then I asked her what she thought the ABV was. "I dunno", she said "around 10%, I suppose". Therein lies the only real problem I had with this beer. It is indeed tasty, with really nice fruity, spicy notes - a lot of banana, clove, whiskey, bubblegum, dark bread flavors. But man, did it seem alcoholly. Or maybe I’m just overly sensitive, like some sort of big baby. I wonder if this would age well? TheOrange (407), Kent, Ohio, USA

I hope this is still about the same taste as it would have been a year ago. The pour is a dark mahogany, with a medium light brown head. Aroma is buttery and wheaty. The flavor is true to the aroma with a nice molasses character. The finish is slow and satisfying. Good beer.
