Bottle. Slightly darker than cola appearance, white head. Smells like licorice. The taste reminds me, appropriately enough, of fruitcake. Very festive, complex and fruity. I would like it to be a little stronger in terms of taste though. Finish was a little thick. Overall, great festive, holiday brew.

Bottle in winter variety pack. Pours to a deep red with a beige head that never fully dissipates and laces the glass. The scent is light. You can smell hints of malt and some spices. The beer is the epitome of ’medium bodied,’ with present malts, spices, and fruits. Maybe a bit watery, though the spices will stick with you well after the beer is finished. All in all, it’s a very drinkable - and enjoyable holiday offering.

This had an excellent body with nice holiday spicy tones of cinnamon, nutmeg and even chocolate undertones. Aroma is inviting. A very decent holidy beer.

Bottle. Poured a dark red with a whitish head. Aroma of spices and not much else. Flavor is of malt and spices. This beer would be good if it was maltier and spicier.

Pours a dark red color with an off white head. Aroma is pretty bland and hard to pull out anything but theres definately some spices, specifically cinnamon. Flavor is more bountifull than the aroma, though not by much. A nice mellow maltiness with some herbs and spices to liven things up. Nothing speical but a really drinkable spiced beer.

As others mentioned, decent ale with some holiday spices to make it more interesting. Had as part of a variety pack. Worth trying and enjoyed what I had but have never thought to go track one down again.
