This beer is very clear with a rich amber hue. It has a sweet whiskey flavor with a medium-strong aftertaste. It also has orange flavors.

Dark brown color with a small head. Aroma has some light roast, chocolate and nuts with autumn spices. Cloves and cinnamon more than anything. Flavor is sweet and balanced with spice and light bitterness. Some light chocolate and little cinnamon bite. A little earthy finish. Very in the season.

Bottle. Clear red-brown with receding, tight off-white head. Aroma is herbal with nutmeg, cinnamon and orange peel. Flavors of toffee, sugar cookie, chocolate, pine, and coffee cake. Medium-light body with lively mouthfeel. Incorporates the funk of the season.

As far as fruit/veggie/spice beers go, this isn’t bad. It’s my least-liked style, but I did try to rate to the style. A neighbor gave me this and one other to try, so I thought I’d drop a rating while I’m at it. Definitely a winter beer, but I can’t help but to think they simply left out some pumpkin filling from an old pumpkin recipe, drop in a touch more hops and call it good.

Bottle from a variety 24-pack. I do taste the "Christmas Cookie" thing that is supposedly going on here. The problem is that all the good flavors are covered with an irritating burned cookie flavor...

Bottle. Poured brown in color with a large rocky head that was mostly lasting with excellent lacing. The aroma was of roasted bread like coffee malts with a nice pine hop scent. It tasted of slightly bitter coffee with a nice hoppy finish that lasted for a nice while. Mouthfeel was of medium body and an oily-creamy texture. Overall a very tasty ale.

From bottle. Mild sweet araom, light malty notes with root beer, caramel, ginger, and orange peel. Light nutty bitterness. Mild aroma overall, but pleasant. Dark brown clear with light tan head. Medium watery body with medium high carbonation. Fizzy. Starts sweet with lots of ginger, root beer, caramel, and brown sugar. Medium sweetness with light nutty finish. Mild bitter and sweet after.

Bottle from MrPickles - Nice mahogany pour with a wispy white head. Light toasted malt and caramel on the nose, with a light spiciness (perhaps cinnamon and allspice?). A touch of sourness and licorice, too. Nuttiness, toasted malt, and a touch of bitter chocolate. Finish is a bit off-putting, with stale hops and a skunky bitterness. Not particularly complex or interesting -- I’m curious as to what the intent of this beer was.
