gwpom (200), Akron, New York, USA Oct 11, 2008 12 oz from Summer pack. Like most SA, this isn’t bad, but as has been stated, there are plenty of other pale ales out there that could kick this one’s butt. Still, I like SA in general, and it’s nice to have something hoppy in a pack full of fluff. esjaygee (830), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA Oct 11, 2008 Clear yellow to amber with a wispy white wig. Aroma of grain, citrus and faint hops. Taste of faint hops, malt with a mildly bitter finish, too malted for style. Talk about the epitome of drinkable and forgettable beers… I forgot about this one while I was drinking it. marksahara (79), Atlanta, Georgia, USA Oct 10, 2008 12 oz bottle. Pours a golden amber with moderate white airy crown that has little retention and spotty lacing. Aroma is predominantly grassy hops with some citrus hops and a slight hint of malt undertones. The flavour is bitter with a crisp finish, yet not enough malt backbone, in my opinion. The mouthfeel is a little light with spritely carbonation. Just an okay beer. There are a lot more pale ales out there that have far better quality. borgination (98), Lee, Massachusetts, USA Oct 9, 2008 Found in the summer mix case, this beer had a supprisingly tasty hops character that lingered fairly well. Pretty good. smaynard6000 (55), New Castle, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 9, 2008 Light golden color with a smallish white head. Grainy citrusy flavor with a crisp finish. Average body. Not outstanding, but I enjoyed this beer.
