Light aromas and flavors of toasted malt and nuts, fruit, wheat, and spices (mostly nutmeg). A little too thin, slightly creamy. Overall not a bad Weizen Bock, but it left a bit to be desired.

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Dec 29, 2009 355ml bottle, 5.6% ABV, provided by Finn and shared at a Romjuls party. Clear amber body, naked surface. Smell of sweet, earthy malts. Pale malts in flavour mixed with wheat and a mild touch of ginger plus honey sweetness. Clean tasting. Rather anonymous, however, fine with the pickled herring (Tromsø, 27.12.2009). Bragesnak (2354), Aarhus, Denmark

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 24, 2009 12oz. bottle served in a shaker pint. Pours a dark amber with a finger of off white head. Not much in the aroma department, a little caramel sweetness and some noble hops. Light to medium bodied. Wheaty with some malt sweetness, a little bit of spice in the finish. Not a whole lot going on here, but it’s fairly drinkable.
